News sites present specific technical SEO challenges: high publish volume, pagination, duplicate content from wire stories, and the need for real-time indexing. The work focused on making Zeri's content discoverable and indexable as efficiently as possible.
The engagement also reached into the product and platform layer: working with the development team on how the web application rendered structured data and handled performance at high publish volume, so SEO was built into the product rather than bolted on.
