This is the creative-media corner of my resource list: recording and mixing audio, editing video, animating in After Effects, and modelling in 3D. Different disciplines, but they tend to overlap the moment you start making anything real, so I keep them together.
Audio production
OBEDIA — Audio production and hardware, with dedicated series for the major DAWs (Studio One, Cubase, Ableton, Cakewalk). Practical, tool-specific help when you are stuck inside your software.
Motion design and After Effects
Black Mixture — After Effects animation and motion design, from speedpaints to full motion-graphics workflows.
Avnish Parker — Focused After Effects tutorials for text, logo intros, and motion graphics. Great for the specific “how do I make this one effect” searches.
Video editing
Deny King — Video editing and creative photo manipulation, including mobile-friendly edits. A good starting point if you are editing on a budget.
3D and Blender
Blender Guru — The classic Blender starting point. The “Beginner Series” (and the famous donut tutorial) is how a huge share of Blender users got going.
Grant Abbitt — Approachable Blender sculpting, game-asset creation, and 3D art. A calm, well-paced complement to Blender Guru.
CG Fast Track — Fast-tracked Blender learning and 3D modelling for people who want to move quickly once the basics click.
If you are brand new to 3D, start with Blender Guru’s beginner series, then branch into Grant Abbitt for sculpting. For motion work, Black Mixture and Avnish Parker cover most of what you will need in After Effects.
