Webmaster Conference in Mountain View

Webmaster Conference in Mountain View

Google is bringing its Webmaster Conference to Mountain View on November 4th, and I am in. The application window was open for only a few days and closed fast under the volume of requests, so I was glad to get the invite.

The official description of the event:

We’re hosting a product summit version of the Webmaster Conference in Mountain View, California in early November.
This event is designed to facilitate an open dialog between the webmaster and SEO community and Search product teams. This one-day event will include talks from Search product managers, Q&A sessions, and a product fair giving attendees the opportunity to have direct conversations with product managers.

The agenda covers Search Console, JavaScript, structured data, and open Q&A with the product teams. Exactly the topics I work in day to day, and rare to hear straight from the people who build the systems.

Google ran Webmaster Conferences around the world over the past year, but this product-summit format looks different: fewer keynotes, more direct access to the managers behind each Search feature.

I will follow up with notes once I am back. Read what I took away in Google Webmaster Conference Mountain View: Product Summit.
